Shannon Ward {Lead Vocals} has been singing since she learned how to talk. She grew up in Alvin, Texas singing alongside her dad, Glenn Laborde, who plays acoustic guitar. At age 6, she could only remember a few lines of the chorus of his songs, but still enjoyed traveling with him to their friends’ homes to entertain. Music has been her favorite past time ever since. In 2006 she joined her first band, the Blame Shifters, who played some country and a lot of oldies. Gigs included: private parties, Pappasitos restaurants, tailgating at the Texan games, and the New Baden Opera House. Since joining Knight Riders in the latter part of 2007, Shannon looks forward to a long future of making music that everyone loves to listen to.
